Ghost switches in CBD

I have a probe that is incorrectly detecting two switches that do not actually exist for the company. These two switches are not even reporting to the same subnet as the probe. I have confirmed without a doubt that the switches CBD thinks are online are not physically present on the network. It does not allow me to manually remove these switches though. How can I get these devices removed without deleting and rebuilding the CBD network itself? Our CBD server is running on the latest version.

Please go to the network detail page, navigate to the Discovery tab, and enter the subnet your CBD probe is attached to in the Allowed Devices field.

Could you identify the vendor for the two switches shown in the inventory? Please navigate to the detail information page for these switches and check the discovery methods listed at the bottom of the left panel. Kindly provide both pieces of information.

Hello,

They are both Cisco switches. Specifically both reporting as a CBS350-24P-4G. The discovery method is "LLDP MAC Address Table CDP Bonjour(Cisco) ARP"

Thanks

Please go to the network's topology view and check if these two switches are shown as connected to a managed switch, then open the CLI console of the identified managed switch and execute "show cdp neighbors", check if the two ghost switches appear in the list?

In the topology view, they are not directly connected to another managed switch. They just connect to a cloud icon saying "Unmanaged network" It is also worth stating that the two ghost switches report on a subnet that this CBD probe is not physically attached to. It is also a subnet that is not used anymore.

Please go to the network detail page, navigate to the Discovery tab, and enter the subnet your CBD probe is attached to in the Allowed Devices field.

Adding just the main subnet to the discovery tab worked like a charm. The ghost switches no longer show up in the topology view. Thanks!
