Importing an IOS-XE image into CML PE 2.x

I was wondering if someone could provide some assistance. I tried to import IOS-XE 16.12.03a into my CML, but it's not working.

This is the process I used:

1. Import image. This was strait forward.

2. Create node definition

After I create the node definition, if I go back the drop down for the image, says there are no images for the node. I've tried using csr, iOS-L2, etc, but none of them seem to work.

I'm trying to mimic our environment,  but cannot seem to get the image to work.

Any thoughts?

CML permits you to upload additional VM images (as qcow2 files) for use in your labs.

IOS-XE 16.12.03a  - i do not believe you get qcow2 image here, you may get .bin file here.

I converted the bin to a qcow2 using QEMU.

Hello,

I am trying to achieve the same thing you are with modeling my exact network. How did you convert the .bin to .qcow2?

Thanks!
