I know by default Jabber client will use Nickname as the contact's display name however my customer does not like it. Is there a way we can update the jabber config file to use AD's "Firstname (givenName)" followed by "Lastname (sn)? I could not merge these two values into one parameter so far. Plz help.

Hi Robin,
You can change the attribute mapping via jabber-config.xml file e.g. you can set the value of "Nickname" attribute to "displayName". Check the links below for similar posts.

Perhaps I did not explain clear enough in my query. What I want to achieve is to combine two values into one parameters. I know that we can change the attribute for a parameter but how to use two values (first AND last name) into the Nickname attribute. Thanks
