Cisco Jabber 12.6 Auto Sign-Out

Hi Experts,

Good Day. Our Cisco Jabber for Windows is automatically signing out after a long period of time. We want to disable the Cisco Jabber automatic signout feature. We already removed the parameter: ForceLogoutTimerDesktop from Cisco Jabber-config.xml contents below. May I know if there is something we need to adjust to the jabber settings or I'm missing something. Moreover, our jabber windows version is 12.6.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<config version="1.0">
<Client>
<EnableAutosaveUserPref>true</EnableAutosaveUserPref>
</Client>
<Options>
<DockedWindowVisible>false</DockedWindowVisible>
<CalendarIntegrationType>0</CalendarIntegrationType>
</Options>
<Phone>
<CtiServer1>10.18.0.148</CtiServer1>
<CtiServer2>10.18.0.149</CtiServer2>
<CtiServer3>10.18.0.160</CtiServer3>
<EnableCallPark>false</EnableCallPark>
<TftpServer1>10.18.0.148</TftpServer1>
<TftpServer2>10.18.0.149</TftpServer2>
<TftpServer3>10.18.0.160</TftpServer3>
</Phone>
<Policies>
<EnableCallPickup>true</EnableCallPickup>
<Meetings_Enabled>false</Meetings_Enabled>
<EnableHuntGroup>true</EnableHuntGroup>
<EnableLocalAddressBookSearch>false</EnableLocalAddressBookSearch>
</Policies>
<Voicemail>
<ForwardVoicemail>false</ForwardVoicemail>
</Voicemail>
<Directory>
<DirectoryServerType>UDS</DirectoryServerType>
<UdsServer>10.18.0.148</UdsServer>
</Directory>

</config>

Thank you

Generate a PRT to make sure you are downloading a .xml without the parameter if it was configured before.

java

if this helps, please rate

quick question, can I adjust the XML that way every time user open the jabber app he will receive the user name (blank) to fil in and will not go to reset jabber ?

Recommend you to open up your own post for asking questions and not piggy back on another.

The answer to your question is AFAIK no you can't do that.
