Cisco Jabber V12.5 UK Keyboard layout issue

We have recently upgraded a few users to Cisco Jabber v12.5 from 11.9.3 . There is no issue in any country globally but in UK with English ( UK) customization keyboard if user type " key (i.e.. Shift+2) in chat window jabber detects two key strokes "@. As a workaround user delete @ manually .This happens with all user in UK and if use virtual keyboard with UK Layout on US Pc's its same issue. Is this a bug with ver12.5 ? If no , any possible solution. A TAC case is opened and awaiting response.

Hi there

I am guessing its more like a MS part not a Cisco Jabber part. Please check these post

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/keyboard-shift-2-not-giving/c984f408-0949-4d1b-9925-3d40b0680c00

Hope this Helps

Cheers
Rath!

The issue is coming on Cisco Jabber chat window and no other IM, Email, MS Office app. The user has correct customization and keyboard layout selected.
Its only in Jabber chat window that we see two characters typed simultaneously if we type SHIFT+2.

We are experiencing the same issue for users that have been moved onto Version 12.5.0.22884 Build 272884.

There seems to be a fix for the Canadian French keyboard, (which also has the double quote " for Shift+2, rather than the @ for a US keyboard), in 12.5.1.27406.

The bug for that is CSCvn73056 - https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvn73056

This seems to be same bug .
Can we update it to reflect English(UK) Keyboard or Language input also.

Managed to find out how to create a case
