External Phone Number Mask - Display on Phone

Hi,

Is it possible to not display the External Phone Number Mask on the phones?

We are doing the Caller ID manipulation by Using the External Phone Number Mask, but it displays that configured mask on all the phones. Now on Deskphones, it is still okay, but on phones like 8821, it just shows the Configured Mask on the screen and not the Line DN, which is confusing users.

So just wondering, if there is any way to stop displaying the External Phone Number Maskk on the phone screen.

FWIW- You can change the home screen of the 8821 to show line appearances, similar to a desk phone. Set the Product Specific Configuration Field Home Screen = Line View.
