Hi.
Here in the company we use the 10.5.0 version of Cisco Jabber and it is working well.
But now, we want upgrade to version 11.5.2 and we found some problems.
In version 11.5.2 does not appear the field "Advanced Settings" to enter the IM & Presence server address as you see in the attached file.
Thus I can not log Jabber because it does not find the appropriate server.
If anyone knows how to get around it and can share I'll be grateful.
Thanks
Guilherme

Hi,
Did you configure the UDS DNS record ?
How did you do with the 10.5 ? You fill manualy the name of the IMP or the discovery was successful ?

Hello Jose,
It is always advisable to create _cisco-uds SRV record & A record in enterprise DNS server to have automatic discovery of CUCM/IMP, rather than manually mentioning IP address in advance settings. So create it and test.

Hi Kevin,
With the 10.5 version we follow the steps that you can see on the attached file.
1 - Access "Advanced Settings".
2 - Select "Cisco IM & Presence"
3 - Put the Ip address from IM & Presence server.
Thanks

Hello Kevin,
No, the problem is still happening.
The screen shot old_version_jabber.jpg is a print screen from Jabber version 10.5.0

Hello Suresh and everybody.
Im sorry delay to reply.
We change the search to server from IP to FQDN and create the entries on DNS server and SRV records. This fix my problem.
Now is not necessary configure the server address before log in on Cisco Jabber
Thanks.

I am using 11.5.2 and the Advance setting is still there.
Apparently the interface is different. What installation file are you using?

Hello Weihan-lu.
I downloaded the installer on the Cisco Web site.
The file is CiscoJabber-Install-ffr.11-5-2.zip.
