I have instructors that are hosting virtual classes in their webex personal rooms. They are teaching these classes in rooms with an MX800, rear wall monitor, and precision 60 for presenter tracking in briefing mode. They have live students in the room as well as students connecting in from home or wherever.
The instructors would like to be able to view some of the meeting features such as the chat and participant list, but none of that stuff is available when connected via a room system. Is there any way for instructors to monitor things like the meeting's chat? The only thing I can come up with is to have them join the meeting again in a browser so they can see the chat, but this seems like a sloppy workaround and I was hoping there was a better way.
Thanks!

The MX is registered to Call Manager. I think you are correct however for the participant list on the touch 10. So that solves that problem.
Any ideas for the chat? The instructors want to be able to respond when one of the distant students types a question in the meeting chat.

Hi there
Just a thought, I havent tried though..How about scheduling a webex meeting and using Intelligent Proximity, connect to your Video endpoint and start sharing the screen. Host can use all the functions from the Webex meeting running on the laptop Webex Desktop App Suite.
Hope this Helps
Cheers
Rath!
