Issue installing Unity preupgrade cop file

Hello everybody.

I am upgrading a Unity cluster 11.5.1.12900-21 to ver 12.5.

As first step I am trying to install required cop file ciscocm.cuc_upgrade_12_0_v1.2.k3.cop.sgn, but any time I tried using a fresSFTPD sftp server I got the same error:

"An Unknown error occurred while accessing the upgrade file"

I have confirmed access from Unity cluster to sftp server, I have restarted the sftp server, and I have replaced downloaded cop file, but I am getting the same error.

I used the SAME sftp server to install required preupgrade cop files on seven (7) CUCM & IMP server that I upgraded last week on the same platform.

I tried to put the cop file on VMware data store but when I try to associate VM's CD/DVD Drive to cop file, the file IS NOT SELECTABLE ( please see attached file)

Any idea about what is preventing this implementation?

Thanks

Recommend you to use any other SFTP server software than FreeSFTPd, for example SolarWind SFTP server that also is free.

A workaround will be trying a different SFTP applications.

Make sure you read the README guide of the COP.

Thanks for reply,

I used the same sftpd app for restoring Unity cluster ( from production backup), and for installing pre upgrade cop files on CUCM & IMP servers.

Okay, But did you tried a different SFTP applications ?

Thanks for reply,

I used the same sftpd app for restoring Unity cluster ( from production backup), and I also copied the same cop file on wmware data store, but file is not selectable when I try to associate it to Unity VM's CD/DVD drive ( please see attached file)

It is not the appropriate file type to be used to mount it. It has to be an ISO file for that.

That it worked for other type of tasks are non related to this.
