I'm having an issue where Jabber 9.0 is not accepting my username and password for Voicemail if the user was imported to Unity Connection(8.6) from LDAP. However, I can log into the Unity Web Inbox with the same username and password. Here's the interesting thing, if the user is created locally in Unity, everything works just fine. The Class of Service applied to both user types is identical.
Has anyone seen this issue?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
I beleive you have been hit y a bug id CSCty05524
UC 8.6.2.21009-1 – IMAP Authentication failed when using LDAP directory.
Symptom:
Unity Connection IMAP access failed due to SELinux enforcing mode.
Conditions:
This is observed when users are authenticated through LDAP
Workaround:
Switch the SELinux mode to permissive using the following CLI command:
utils os secure permissive
OR
Upgrade to the last version of CUC as it has been fixed in version 8.6(2.1900.5)
If this was helpful please tag it .

Thanks Amr, you are exactly right. I ran that command from the CLI, rebooted the server, and everything started working.

Hi every body,
I have some problems but not with all the users, is only working with 3 users and the rest of them don't work, I attached the errors that I get when I try to log in Telephony Accounts in the Jabber, I used the Jabber of one User, and from here I introduce my credentials (user and password) and I can get the voice mails (only from de 3 users that is woriking fine), but when I introduce the credentials of the other user I get the error and Can't get the voicemails.
The 127.23.0.7 is the IP address of the Cisco Unity Connection.
Please Help Me I'm stuck with this!
