I have some remote users that do not have physical phones, but use Jabber. Is there a way for them to initiate a Meet Me without a physical phone?

Not with meet me but if you have communications manager 11 you can use the conference me feature to provide that service and it has more features than meet me
Thanks

hello Srinivasan Kilambi
Do you mean version 11 and is this version readily available now ?
Apart from cisco Meet Me, which other advance feature can this version support

Not meet me and it probably will never come because you have conference me feature that allows you in v11 to have a number to dial in from externally if needed open a bridge, have host and attendee PIN.
That way there is no dependency on meet me soft key
Thanks

Not sure I follow, the link I put above is indeed how to configure this feature step by step. I don't have anything beyond that. If you just Google Conference Now and Cisco communications manager you will see other links too

This is a feature not supported on Cisco Jabber yet. Please set bug ID
