We reset the cache following the instructions here: https://help.webex.com/en-us/WBX72595/How-Do-I-Clear-the-Cache-in-Cisco-Jabber-for-Windows
We moved the CSP folders somewhere else instead of deleting them completely
Then we went to restore the chat history following the instructions here, where I copied in the <username>.db.v2 file from the folders we backed up before deleting the cache: https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-applications/restore-jabber-chat-history-after-reset/td-p/2981621
But when I start Jabber back up, it replaces the <username>.db.v2 file with the default empty one (32KB). How can I get jabber to recognize the backed up DB file?

Paul

I found if I put the Roaming CSP and Local CSP back, my history comes back.
But I had cleared the cache because Jabber wouldn't recognize my phone (and clearing the cache worked for that). Is there some specific files in the Local or Roaming Jabber CSP directories I can delete to get Jabber to recognize my USB phone device?

Paul
