Upgrade Unity Connection Version 8.6 to Versio 14 on New C220M6

Whats the official process to get the Unity Connection from old servers to version 14 on new servers ( all virtual machines)

- Cant use PCD for migration like CUCM

- Do we need to install the version 8.6 onto the new UCS server from a backup and then upgrade it ?

PCD cant be used for Unity migration as it does not  support unity migrations.

If you are versions 11.X, 12,X you can use data export option. In your case cobras tool can be used.

You can also use an upgrade path, in your specific case it would very likely involve multiple steps via interim versions as your on a very old starting version. The upgrade path is outlined in the upgrade documentation.
