Hi,
we have a callmanager with a polycom videoconferencing solution.
The polycom system is attached via sip-trunk.
They have a request, where it seems that this is not configureable on callmanager.
1.) Call from phone a IP-Address with dots, for example 192.168.10.1
2.) Call from phone an URI, for example company@domain.com
We used a Routepattern 6.!, where i cut the leading number 6. The Polycom system is having rules to dial or establish this call requests.
We have the following solutions sucessfully tested (IP= 192.168.10.1):
RP= 6.!, Called= 6192168010001
RP= 6.!*!*!*!, Called= 6192*168*10*1
But how can i send dots? or a uri?

We don't support dialing IPs, and for URIs, you need to configure a sip route pattern to match the domain portion and route via a sip trunk.

They will send it allways to the same trunk, but with diffrent uri's

Hi,
i have open a Cisco TAC case and we figured out that later callmanagers have more options for this. But i have to deal with CUCM 8.6.2 and will have to implement a workaround.
For my first point i have a feature enhancment request (CSCuq09077) now:
1.) Call from phone a IP-Address with dots, for example 192.168.10.1

I cannot insert a @-symbol or more then one dot in a routepattern, so far it is not working.
The reason could be the meaning of dot and @-symbol in a routepattern.
i know, we talk about callrouting, but he says, that a polycom is able to send uri and ip in sip-ivite to the callmanager?!
