Changes to gadget requires Browser clear

I apologize if this has been covered but I did not find it. It appears that a change to a gadget, specifically a change to the .js file requires the agent to delete history in IE. Is this normal or am I missing something?

It may be a problem when having to make a change to get all agents to delete history, especially those signing in through Citrix.

Hi,

Yes, in order to get better performance, the gadgets are cached. So it is normal to either need to restart tomcat and/or delete the browser's history/cache.

Thanx,
Denise

We normally run below commands on finesse server on deploy night and no issues.

utils service stop Cisco Finesse Tomcat

utils service stop Cisco Tomcat

utils service start Cisco Finesse Tomcat

utils service start Cisco Tomcat

Thank you smeegada1!

We will try that on deployments.
