Hi

we have uccx 7 with HA. The secondary server has the Cisco Desktop Sync Service shown as stopped (Red-cross) in the control center.

How can it be started?

Thanks.

For benefit of others who have / might face the same issue:

Used the UCCX Install CD on the secondary server and did a "REPAIR" option, rebooted the server. The Cisco Desktop Sync Service is back in-service and working now.

X2... Fixed it for me too.

Dear,

I have exactly 100% the same issue, just want to check when you did the repair from the CD, what SR and Build you are running?

I'm currrently running 7.0(1)SR05_Build504

Regards,

Hi

Running a repair is probably overkill for this; the service has basically disabled as it has crashed more than a few times in a short period of time. It can happen to any UCCX service.

You can enable the process by using the CCX Serviceability Tool from Start/Programs  (see:http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1846/products_tech_note09186a00808278d8.shtml)

OR by editng the registry (see:https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/272334)

Regards

Aaron
