We are upgrading UCCE from 8.5 to 10.5 on new hardware, hence its a technology refresh upgrade
the servers will have new IPs and hostnames
We only have a single AD and wish to do the deployment on it. During the upgrade, both 8.5 and 10.5 system will be running at the same time
As per Cisco upgrade guide, a new AD is required for a TR upgrade, but this wont be possible in our scenario
How can this be handled? instance name has to remain the same to use the EDMT tool
Can we use the same facility and instance currently being used?
Or is it safer to create a new facility and then create an instance with the same name under it?
