Create new CUIC Reports

Hello, I'm taking a lab on dCloud about CUCCX v10.6 and there are some reports on CUIC that I'll like to configure for my site, I try to copy the reports but some fields don't know how to create them cause are not listed, is there already a reports template file for CUIC just to load it in CUIC??   Or the design and configuration of reports has to created every time??

Can someone help me how can I configure reports similar as the attachments.

Regards,

Juan Carlos Arias

For picture 1, you will simply need to create a Dashboard. Refer to Dashboards section of below document:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_10_6/user/guide/UCCX_BK_UFF59C60_00_uccx-report-user-guide-106/UCCX_BK_UFF59C60_00_uccx-report-user-guide-106_chapter_0101.html

For picture 2 and 3, simply do a Save As on the  Agent Team Summary and Voice CSQ Agent Detail report and then refer to Set Threshold Indicators for Fields section of above document.

Picture 4 is nothing but the snapshot of Reports that you created by doing Save As for Picture 2 and 3 and then placing them inside a Folder within CUIC.

Thanks for your help, I found another faster way to do it, make an Export from original server and then Import the report, and I got it.

Hello Deepak

cuic_rept02.jpg is where I am using the super user administrator account and can see the access to the report folder tree. Administrator super user can see all users and have admin roles in cuic_rept22.jpg .

My problem is I cannot seem to create a sub-folder in the default tree where the default reports templates are and that was provided by CISCO during install. I am unable to save as and create another report instance for users to have access to. I am also not able to perform any schedules with this super admin account.

Since you have upgraded from 8.5 to 10.6, I have a very strong feeling that you are hitting the below defect:

https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCup31962/?reffering_site=dumpcr

Please note that you will need to enter the same userid that you want should be the CUIC Super User in all the three commands mentioned in the workaround of the defect. In an ideal situation, the CUIC Super User is the Application User created during the installation and is also used to login into Cisco Unified Serviceability page on UCCX

So lets say, your Application User is admin then the commands should be like below:

run sql update mmca_propertydef set defaultvalue='admin' where propertyname='OAMP.Superuser'

run sql delete from cuic_data:cuicuser where name='CUIC\admin' and id!='1111111111111111111111111111AAAA'

run sql update cuic_data:cuicuser set name='CUIC\admin' where id='1111111111111111111111111111AAAA'

After you have performed the workaround, restart the below CUIC services from CLI

utils service restart Cisco Unified Intelligence Center Reporting Service

utils service restart Cisco Unified Intelligence Center Serviceability Service

Please note the above mentioned workaround will only need to be done on Primary UCCX server but the services will need to be restarted on both the UCCX servers (in case of HA)

Once you have done everything correctly as mentioned above, then run below command and you should be able to see only one user as CUIC\<userid> which is the superuser

admin:run sql select * from cuic_data:cuicuser
id                               version name           description                          partition defaultgroupid                   sharingpermission alias firstname lastname organization emailaddress contactphone cuicroles timezoneid isactive startoftheweek

Hello Deepak

We have upgraded UCCX from V 8.5 - 10.6 and have CUIC running but cannot assist agents whom used the client version of Historical reporting with saving their filtered reports to be run in a schedule.

CUIC is new for them and no roles have been given as yet , until I understand what we are going to allow them to do with creating sub folders , saving filtered reports from templates and setting up scheduled. So when I  use the super user account to create a sub-folder and allow access to all I cannot find it in the Report tree. It does not seem to work. Performing a save as for a report does not seem to work either the report location fields are dimmed out. Picture 01 shows test agent with roles shown in picture 3, picture 2 is the super user with fields open for reporting location although when saved I can never find the report or sub folder ????

So when I  use the super user account to create a sub-folder and allow access to all I cannot find it in the Report tree.

You are not logging in as Super User since cuic_rept03.jpg shows that you are logged in as CCX\3590616 and not as CUIC\<userid> that is the case when you are logged in as Super User.

This is the reason you are not able to do anything what you want there. Log in as super user and you should be good then. In case you are not sure of the SuperUser, then try running the below command from UCCX CLI:

run sql select * from mmca_propertydef where propertyname='OAMP.Superuser'
