Attempting to connect a 'Twitter Account' via the 'Configuration Tab' in CSM but we're getting hung up on 'Authorization Pending... Wait for the Twitter Authorization page to load.' and it never does.
Attempted via 3 different browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) and ensured that pop-ups were allowed.
UCCX: 11.6.10000-51
CSM: 11.6.1.10000-25
The version difference itches a little bit.

Hi All,
this is issue with facebook privacy policy change. I have attached the file shared by cisco.
Product Bulletin: Cisco SocialMiner
Removal of social monitoring from SocialMiner and
impact to current social monitoring users
In light of the recent privacy issues, Facebook and Twitter have
introduced new requirements for business applications that interface with
these platforms. These new requirements impact the social monitoring
capabilities of Cisco SocialMiner.
Due to changes to Facebook policies, all existing Facebook
monitoring capabilities will stop working from August 1st, 2018
for all versions of the product.
Twitter is also announcing new privacy policies. In addition, there is a shift
in customer care trends from social monitoring to social media
messaging. Consequently, Cisco will be removing support for monitoring
of the Facebook fan pages, Twitter and RSS feeds from SocialMiner for
all Customer Journey Solutions customers starting SocialMiner version
11.6(2).
Starting from 11.6(2), SocialMiner will support the integration of
Facebook Messenger with CCX.
This announcement has no impact on SocialMiner’s continued support for
email and chat functionalities on CCX and Task Routing functionality on UCCE
hope this will clarify.
Regards,
Mukesh

Hi,
Please check with your proxy settings and login to SM and try to Ping www.cisco.com or any internet sites .
It seems SM not able to communicate with Internet, may be firewall block or firewall ports need to be open.
Thanks,
Ram.S

Thanks for the suggestion; however we're not using a proxy in our environment and it's also disabled within SM.
Ran a quick 'utils network ping twitter.com' and it replied back without loss.
