I am getting an error on Cti os when logging in to one particular extension mobility profile. The error is The request failed because the timeout limit exceeded.... When login with other extensions all working ok on the same phone. The Pg user association is done on device basis. Can somebody tell what could be the issue with this particular extension.

Check the device extension status in PG through procmon.

If the device status says "out of service" in both sides then delete the extension and readded it again.
There are lot JTAPI bugs in CUCM 8.x .What version of CUCM and ICM you are running ?

Thanks for the reply. Actually i unclicked the "Allow control through CTI " on the extension.Rebooted the extension then clicked it back. It started working. Dont know if that is a permanent solution.
I did tried procmon but couldn find that extension

This happened to me couple of times. However I observed thst the firmware on the phone was not updated, so a factory reset of the phone helped in resolving the issue as it downloads the latest firmware from CUCM.
