Hi all,
We have UCCX 7.0.1 product in our company, and was wondering if CUCM Silent Monitoring through the Phone's BIB (Build In Bridge) is possible from CSD.
I know UCCE supports Silent Monitoring through CM BIB, but I could not find any document saying that this is supported on UCCX.
I just want to make sure I did not miss something out.
And if anyone knows of any 3rd party application that could trigger the silent monitoring session start on Call Manager.
It's CUCM 7.0.1
Many thanks for your help,
George,

Hello,
In UCCX we have two different ways two confingure Monitoring, one is Desktop base and the other one is using SPAN. The following documents will give you more information.

The Cisco WFO MR product supports BIB-based recording starting in version 8.0; it terms it Network Recording. The most common third-party options such as Telrex and I believe Witness support it as well.

That's what we use here, works nicely. Although in their environment it would require an upgrade to UCCX 8.

Monitoring can be initiated from the supervisor PC / Supervisor IP Phone
Cisco UCCX /UCCE is not required.Only CUCM is required.
