Custom Audio Element : flush buffer and synchronize execution of a media

Hi,

Everything is in the title ! I found a discussion on an older Cisco forum (here is the link Clear Dtmf Buffer Audio Element  ) about flushing the dtmf buffer. A jar file was attached to the discussion. It contains two custom audio elements (by overriding the "addxmlbody" method) : the first one is used to flush dtmf buffer to prevent the interruption of the next audio and the second permits to a synchronous completion of the media playing.

Is it possible to merge this two elements in only one with two functionalities ?

Thanks.

Try this one.

Has anyone in the community ever made use of this one?

Hi Paul,

I didn't see your first answer. I'll try your custom element next week. Thanks (and sorry to be to so late).

Hi Paul,

Your element looks to be good. Thanks ...

It will probably help me to catch hotevent when audio file is missing.

Great.  Thanks for testing and providing the feedback.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Used it as well, recently, to flush the buffer between 2 menus.

We had some issues with people calling from an analogue phone pressing the same digit too long.

Placed a 1 sec silence with barge-in disabled + a flush buffer with your element between both menus.

Fixed the issue.

It's a useful element that can help work around issues. Thanks!

Kind regards,

Koen
