Custom Report Execution Failed, Try Again or Contact the Administrator

As the title implies I have built a custom report to be executed on the customer's CUIC and whenever I do I get the message "Report Execution Failed. Retry running the report and if the condition persists, contact the administrator".

CUIC's version is 12.5(1) Build 12.5.1.11001.348

Additional information: If I click on tool icon > SQL, copy the query there, connect to the informix database and execute it, it runs smoothly fine and brings the data I need and that makes me believe the problem is CUIC and not the query. What can I do to fix this issue?
