Some of our voicemail profiles changed on some of our CTI route points. So UCCX is reporting Cisco Unified CM Telephony Data Synchronization errors (VoiceMailProfile UUID changed from {old} to new).
I just wanted to make sure it was safe to run a data resync during the day? It won't cause any outages for running applications?
UCCX/CM v8.5.
Thanks

Hi Bill.
For what it's worth, in my experience, running a resync does not cause an outtage, because the resets to the devices are queued until they are idle. Just like resetting a phone in CUCM which is currently on a call.
However! If you are so unlucky as to take a sudden surge of calls right as your once idle ports go unregistered, you will have effectively reduced the number of calls you can serve, and the possibility of handy out a busy signal would exist.
You could always create a new CTI Port group of like 1 or 2 ports, put a call into a fake queue via those ports, and then perform a resync.
Good luck with it.
