Dialer Regulations

I have a question around regulations on Automated Dialers.

I have been researching on the TCPA regulations.

The question is once a record is loaded into a Campaign is there a timeframe on when that record has to be called on?

The environment I joined recently only call out on a campaign for 14 days stating that there was a Regulation that stated as such. They could not specify the source from where they heard that.

You could load a record in and the dialer might not call out for 14 days or 14 weeks, depending on what other logic/settings you have. I'm not sure what regulations there might be on the loading. The regulations are more about the contacts (i.e. dont call person if they are on do not call list, do not call them after certain time of day based on their location/area code, etc.).
