Hi,
I am trying to setup a script in ICM that sends out a label that ends up calling a 5 digit internal extention. When I set up the Label node in ICM I know that it gets passed back to CVP as it is my routing client but I am not sure where it goes from there as we have no gatekeeper. Does CVP just send it back to the ingress gateway?
Thanks,
Cameron

Hello,
I am guessing that because you don't have gatekeeper means you are configuring your CVP as SIP right ?
If you want the label to be sent to the ingress gateway , you have to add it to the list of labels in CVP OPS server to send it back to the originator, if it is not configured then the CVP will not know what to do with the call and it will be released.

Thanks Amer,
I actually was looking at that just before I read your post but for some reason didn't click. Seemed obvious after the fact.

Hey Dave,
I actually did try to do this also by building a label and then putting a CTI Route Point on CallManager that just forwards to voice mail. I did add the CTI Route Point to my JTAPI but the call didn't seem to go through. Not sure if there was something on the label that I missed or not.

I often send CVP calls to voice mail. The label is returned to CVP as it is the routing client, (which you clearly know) and presumably you ask the SIP Proxy what to do with it. If you have a static route in the proxy for this label pointing to your Subscriber, it will go to Call Manager. If this is the pilot point for your voice mailbox, it will go to Unity. Should definitely work.
If the number is actually a CTI route point associated with JTAPI it's going to send a route request to ICM and you would need a dialed number-call type-scheduled script. But it's not required.

Geoff
