Can phone agents be authenticated by pin instead of using the password? We are integrated with AD and as a result the passwords are complicated.
I know you can do the one button login however the passwords change often. The agents would be required to login to the ccmuser webpage often to update the password. This is very inconvenient for us.

Anyone, have an answer to this question ?

Hi
Yes - the answer is No. Authentication is unfortunately by password only.
Perhaps consider using CAD on the PCs if possible; it's far easier than managing state via IPPA especially when integrated to AD.

Hi Aron
Unfortunately for some customers CAD is not an option since it's not included in the standard version anymore.

That's true; but should be something that is considered when choosing your edition.
Unfortunately you can't reconfigure IPPA to use the PIN, so if you have standard you are stuck with logging in manually each time, or educating the agents and technical support staff that they must maintain their password in the 'CCMUser' pages when their AD password changes.
Don't shoot the messenger :-)
