Jabber on UCCE environment

Hi Community,

 

we have an UCCE 10.5 environment and we want to integrate cisco Jabber only for agents, so Jabber will be used only for communication.

 

is cisco Jabber 12.x supported on cisco UCCE 10.5 environment ?

It isn't on the compatibility matrix for CCE 10.5. It does show as supported in later versions of CCE, so you might need a TAC case to be opened for them to confirm and then update the 10.5 compatibility matrix?

According to this document, Jabber for Windows 9.7 to 11.x are supported for UCCE 10.5:

I'm looking at the IP Phone Support table of the guide.

 

We have a slightly later version of UCCE and recently had the same question.  Similar guides for later versions of UCCE claim support for Jabber 12:

 We were able to login to Finesse 11.6 (UCCE 11.5) using Cisco Jabber 12.5.1 just today.
