Login ECE 12 Desktop with API

hi to all
I need to login to agent desktop ECE 12 , but i'd like to do this :
1 - login using API system/ws/v12/authentication/user/login
2 - get X-egain-session value
3 - launch url Desktop with session parameter obteined previously.,

It's possibile to do this ??? and if yes.

With Postman i have done login. I have X-egain-session value, but i don't know how use it to open desktop ECE.
is there anybody who can help me ?

You have to use gadget or lite agent. Everything else is not supported

thank you for your answer. I'm sorry for delay in my replay :(

So is not possibile .... but liteagent is possibile use with parameters?.
Our PhoneBar was written with rest API and our customer don't want another login to acces ECE Desktop.
Is not possibile in any way?

I guess, PhoneBar is your Agent Desktop, that works with Finesse.

Unfortunately ECE doesn’t support any 3rd party desktops for now.
You can always ask to provide you API details via Account Team. That request will come to BU and we might get API details
