Exact message i get " [ SEVERE ] - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 installation does not have a high enough service pack.
Cisco Unified ICM/Contact Center Enterprise & Hosted requires Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1 or greater

Hi,

As far as i can see in the compatibility matrix of UCCE 10.0, the minimum required version for installing ICM is SP2:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/icm_enterprise/ucce_compatibility/matrix/ucce_10_0_x_compat.html#Microsoft_SQL_Server_2008_R2_

In order to see which version you're using just right click on your SQL Server in the SQL Management Studio and press "Properties". In the first windows that'll pop out you'll see the version. You'll see something like: 12.0.6329.1.

This version represents the SQL Server version and service pack. Now all is left is google: "sql server version numbers" and you'll find the following URL:

https://sqlserverbuilds.blogspot.com/

There you just search what is written for you in the "Version" field and you'll find the exact SQL Server version and Service pack. You probably now have: 10.50.1600.1  or 10.50.2500.0.

So I would just recommend you to upgrade to SP3 which is also mentioned as supported in the compatibility matrix above, you can just download it for free from here and upgrade very easily:

Hi,
I do realize that, but the guy asked help regarding installing ICM 10.0. So I helped (or tried to)
;)

I'm sorry, I meant that towards the original poster, not you.

I appreciate anyone who takes the time like yourself or other prevalent posters like Omar or David among others to review the posts here and post suggestions, they can really come in handy.

Thanks for letting me know about 10.0 ending cycle but it was for lab purpose like test installation so i can get idea how UCCE is installed.

@rjunaid.sh Hi, about the web setup. Are you trying to access it with Internet Explorer or any other browsers? As it is 10.0, I think it would be best to try only on Internet Explorer because it sounds like browser compatibility issue.

i was trying to access web setup with the defuaut web acess option on server 2008 desktop anyhow i access web setup remotely but it's  not working fine i guess beacause when i try to add any instance nothing happen idk what's that error is, ca you help me with that
