We have a CUCCX version 7.0(1)SR05_Build504, and we keep seeing the following message: %MIVR-SS_RM-3-CAUGHT_EXCEPTION. An exception has been caught by the Rm:Module Name=RM component, Exception=java.lang.NullPointerException. I could not find any informatin on this message. Does anyone know how I might be able to stop the message or fix the core problem. I have no complaints from the users.
Thank you

Are there any Cisco UCCX experts that have and explanation for this alarm and a solution on eliminating it?

Hi,
NPE's are thrown for various reasons, when software tries to read a field of a null object. This happens in UCCX when something is enabled but not configured, in this case it might be the Resource Manager - so it might be for instance the link between the UCCX server and CallManager. Check the username. Try resyncing all CTI Ports. If you did not finish the configuration, then wrap it up.
