Rebuild UCCX publisher from subscriber

Hello,

I'm running UCCX 12.0 and got a broken publisher node due to failed VM migration. There is working subscriber, I have reinstalled a publisher with the same passwords and added a subscriber node but can't establish replication. DRS backup also fails on subscriber's CCXCOMPONENT because replication is not setup. I've read article about recovering 8.5 version but it not works for 12.0. Is it  possible to recover existing setup or I should completely reinstall UCCX?

If you have an existing subscriber node in place, and are rebuilding a publisher on UCCX, their are two ways to get them back together:

1. You can restore a DRF backup to establish the pub/sub relationship.

2. You have to delete the subscriber from the pub, add the subscriber back on the pub, and then rebuild the subscriber to get it to recognize it.

Frustrating, and there should be a better way...but this is pretty much it.

You will need to rebuild your system from scratch, if you don't have DRS backup
