Regards,

Shankar.A.K.

I have a sprawler setup for this purpose, with PG1A = Generis for CUCM & CVP.

then PG2 for Media Routing.

I have follow the install guide, but I have the MR pim1 have the error below:

10:34:13:700 PG2A-pim1 Peripheral: 5002, sending OPC: PIM_OK_ACK, acknowledgement for command: PIM_CONFIGURE_REQ (Trans ID: 0).
10:34:13:748 PG2A-pim1 Attempting to connect to MR application at IP address: 192.168.1.103, port: 38001.
10:34:24:767 PG2A-pim1 Attempting to connect to MR application at IP address: 192.168.1.103, port: 38001.
10:34:35:770 PG2A-pim1 Attempting to connect to MR application at IP address: 192.168.1.103, port: 38001.
10:34:44:528 PG2A-pim1 Process PIM set idle request: peripheral: 5002, going idle.

:(

I have not setup any admin script as this is not required right? what is needed the pim to connect to Dialer (application)?

Admin script is not required for pim activation, during dialer we need to provide the MR PG ip and the port number (hope this is configured properly).

Do a netstat and check this port used by any other application. if not you can try changing the port to 38002. Some times it clears the problem.

Thanks... but I have changed this and some thing.

11:28:00:248 PG2A-pim1 Peripheral: 5002, sending OPC: PIM_OK_ACK, acknowledgement for command: PIM_CONFIGURE_REQ (Trans ID: 0).
11:28:00:249 PG2A-pim1 Attempting to connect to MR application at IP address: 192.168.1.103, port: 38002.
11:28:11:249 PG2A-pim1 Attempting to connect to MR application at IP address: 192.168.1.103, port: 38002.
11:28:22:251 PG2A-pim1 Attempting to connect to MR application at IP address: 192.168.1.103, port: 38002.
11:28:31:242 PG2A-pim1 Process PIM set idle request: peripheral: 5002, going idle.

Netstat is not show this port at all

I have no firewall and all application on one box

Did you connect Dialer to any IOS Device(Gateway/CUBE/CUSP) ? Whats the status on Dialer ?

Basically MR PG and Dialer are interdependent components , MR PIM wont come active unless the dialer is active.

Regards,

Shankar.A.K.

No the Dialer is not connect to the Gateway yet. Must this be before the Dialer can be active?

Ofcourse , Dialer becomes active only when the below given connections are successfully eshtalished

Dialer <-> Campaign Manager in Logger

Dialer <-> Cti Server <-> EA Pim

Dialer <-> Gateway/Cube/Cusp

and as mentioned earlier MR PG is an interdependent component and it becomes active only when dialer is active.

Shankar.A.K.

Thanks all.

All working and active now.

Issue was HBtimeout. I set it from 1 to 5

Greg

Dialer has 4 connectivity in it. Say,

1) Campaign manager (which resides on logger component)

2) Ctisvr (CG component)

3) Media Routing PG (MR PG which is in same box as Dialer)

4) SIP end point (Gateways/CUSP/CUBE).

Dialer connects to Campaign manager first. Then, tries to connect with CG. Post that, it tries to reach Gateway. Once all these are reachable and active, then MRPG link gets activated.
