Try this..the code I wrote checks for a connection (using sockets) to the server first before you start doing trying to use it..let me know how it helps..

I think your best bet is to monitor the Nuance servers, maybe via SNMP or some custom solution. Asking the UCCX to do this for you doesn't sound like a good idea.

I'm thinking of putting this over on our development side. Before they call the http trigger; they could see if the service is running on the TTS server. Perhaps even get the current license count usuage. Keep in mind; I'm wanting to test the TTS server availability before even making the call to the user. I would still like someone with a little knowledge to mull this over. Looks like TTS server could be setup differently. -Bill

While this can't let me know if I go over on licenses. It does let me know the server and service are up. A big step in the direction I wanted to be. Thank you Sam!
