The WebView database cannot be contacted.

Hi all,

We have a production webview environment ,  I was executing couple of reports and I got a java heapsize error because the timeframe i choose was huge for the data to be displayed .

The WebView database cannot be contacted. Saved  Reports, Favorites, and the Job Scheduler will not be available. Please contact  your administrator.

Any workarounds? I am able to see the report names, just unable to generate any reports.

I read it has somethign to do with wvdb.. But no clue what has to be done.

Hi Girish,

Did you try to take the reports in smaller time frames?

Is it only only for few of the reports or did you try fetching any other report during the time frame
