Hi,
We have a contact center (10.x) using jabber as agents phone and Finesse.
When you have a callcenter that works in shifts with 30 physical places and for example 60 agents. When we use IP communicator and extension mobility we use 30 licenses (30 IP communicator's, Extension Mobility doesn't take a license if I am correct)
But if we use jabber we need to configure 60 jabber CSF devices, which takes 60 licenses, although there will be a maximum of 30 agents online
Am I correct?

Hello-
UCCX licencing is based on concurrent logged in agents. So, you could have 400 agents configured if you wanted, but only 30 could login if you have 30 seat licenses.
Are you using QM/AQM for call recording?
Thanks,
DJ

Hi,
Yes I understand the licensing of UCCX, but each agent also needs a number when they want are an agent. So each agent has to be defined with a phone device (extension mobility, jabber or a hard phone) in CUCM.
My question is then about the CUCM licensing: Extension Mobility licensing vs Jabber licensing
Thanks
JH
