Dear All,
When we create Call Controll group in uccx with CTI port 100,as a result these CTI port are created in CUCM with Double count,i mean 200 Devices. What is the concept behind this and what is the use of extra 100 port created?
Example --- On UCCX 10 CTI Port
It will be created on CUCM with 20 CTI Port Devices.
Regards,
Mukesh

Both servers register the CTI Route Points (/ccmadmin only shows the IP address of one) and whichever MIVR engine has mastership is the only one that responds to the CTI QBE event. CTI Ports on the other hand are unique to each server since they actually need to handle media, thus why you have double in an HA setup as Gabriel indicated.
An incoming call is sent to the Trigger (CTI Route Point) and whichever server has mastership responds with a call redirect to one of it's CTI Ports to handle the call.
