UCCX convert string on date to be prompted to customer

Hi,

I'm receiveing a date on a string with the format "mm/dd/yyyy" and need to convert into a date so that it could be prompted with a Generated Prompt type date.

If i set directly the date will not be correct.

Whats the best way to convert the string into date format, so that it can be prompted?

I had a requirement for very specific date/time formatting and this is what I came up with. I don't know the specific format required for prompt generation but you can change the yyyy-mm-dd and HH:mm:ss to any format you want that works with java and it will work. I know it isn't the cleanest way to do this but it will work in a pinch.

sCreationDate and sCreationTime are string variables that are blank.
