Dears,
We will be upgrading our UCCX from 11.5 to 12.5.
I was checking the compatibility matrix of both versions and I noticed that CCX 11.5 runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.6 and CCX 12.0 runs on CentOS 6.8.
Since the Linux version will change, this means that the upgrade will be a Refresh Upgrade, right?
I got confused as there are no COP files on Cisco's website for UCCX 12.0.
Does this mean that the UCCX 12 Upgrade file will upgrade the Linux version as well?
Thank you,
Lara

Hi
See the installation and upgrade guide: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_12_0/install/guide/uccx_b_uccx-install-and-upgrade-guide-1201.pdf
I just had a quick look to the upgrade guide and I didn't see anything the Linux version is changed during this upgrade.
What kind of .cop files are you looking for? The language packs and the latest bug fixes are available on the Cisco Website :
Language Pack https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323009/type/286314116/release/12.0(1)
Latest Bug fixes: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323009/type/286314176/release/12.0(1)ES02
Hope this helps

Hi
Seems as you are right. The change to CentOS you find also in the release notes (Page 4) https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_12_0/release/guide/uccx_b_uccx-solution-release-notes-1201.pdf
So, looks like upgrade guide is a bit poor.
Regards
Peter
