Unable to add more than 2 PG in Perpheral Gateway Setup

Hi All,

I am setting up a duplex UCCE environment and while setting up PGs, I see that I am unable to add more than 2 PGs.

I need to configure peripherals  for - CUCM, CVP_1 and CVP_2

As far as I know, in Generic Client Type, we can add up to 3 PGs.

Any clue regarding this matter?

Thanks

ok so looks like you are confused on UCCE infrastructure and High Avail concepts.

Look at attached for How the Generic PG is configured for 1 CUCM and two CVP Pims.

Now when you install PG,

Side A.

Pim1 Point to CUCM S1

Pim2 Point to CVP Host 1

Pim3 Point to CVP Host 2

Side B.

Pim1 Point to CUCM S2

Pim2 Point to CVP Host 1

Pim3 Point to CVP Host 2

Use the peripheral ID and Logical controlled ID generated in config manager on both side of PG set up.

at any point of time you will have Pim1,Pim2 and Pim3 active on only one side PG. if that connection goes down other side will pick up.

Thanks a lot Chintan.

With ucce 11.5 version you can add 3 pg's in the same box. Below versions only 2 PG's are allowed(but you can add multiple pim's under each pg).
