Unable to login to CCX Editor

Running UCCX Editor 10.5(1). When I try and login I always get the error:

 

"Unable to log to Unified CCX server <FOO>

java.lang.NullPointerException

Logging in anonymously in stand alone mode ?"

 

Other people can log in fine.

 

Suggestions?

Hello Gordon,

I am not sure about this error msg. but you can check if  this user is an administrator or not.

Script Editor does not login when using server name
CSCuq83669
Symptom:
When using Script Editor for UCCX we get error message:
Exception=java.lang.NullPointerException when using the server name of the UCCX.
You can then continue with anonymous login.
You don't get the issue if you use the IP address

Conditions:
try to log into Script Editor using the host name of the UCCX server.
both the server name and the FQN name fail to login in

Workaround:
Use the IP Address of the UCCX server

I think I've fixed it. I replaced the FQDN of the UCCX server with its IP address. (Yes, the FQDN does resolve correctly. I can use the FQDN in a browser to access the UCCX Web tools)
