i have request to upload new voice prompt for the contact centre express, what is the audio format required ?
i convert the original file from mp3 to wav but when I test it out, all i get is distorted noise.
what should i use ?
bit resolution - 8/16/32 bit
sampling rate - 1000Hz to 96000hz
audio channel - mono/stereo
Prompt format is CCITT u-Law, 8 kHz, 8 bit mono for the WAV files
To convert your prompt for these parameters please use Audacity,Goldwave or any online converter.
managed to get it working using goldwave.
initially i convert the files using online converter that didnt allow me to choose u-Law.
my user find the voice prompt a little too soft.
how can I make it louder in volume ??
Yes we can increase using audacity software . open the file and increase or decrease the volume .
To increase or decrease the volume, use the slider bar with the +/- to increase/decrease the sound.
if you want to record use gold wave software .go to Tools -speech converter type the text and save as speak to file
