We are upgrading IPCC Express from 7.1 to 8.5 and also migrating from a MCS chassis to a UCS environment. As such we wish to change ip addresses as we have all new subnets for devices on the UCS. Can you change the ip address during a IPCC upgrade when using the Pre Upgrade Tool, or should I move the old box to that subnet first?

HI Fisher-m,
Adding to Chris's points:
Yes, you can change the ip address of the UCCX box as part of the W1 (Windows-Linux) upgrade. But please remember that you CUCM ip's should remian as it is, otherwise the upgarded UCCX will still point to your old CUCM ip addresses and will not allow you to restore and login...etc.
You need to reinstallall the UCCX clients like CAD, CSD, CDA, HRC, Editor...in case if you change the UCCX ip.
Hope it helps.
