Hello,
We are going to upgrade from CUCM 6.1.3 to CUCM 8.5 in the near future. I need to know if there are any good business reasons other than server end of life to upgrade our Call Center. Anyone know if there are any new features UCCX 7.0 or 8.0 have to offer that UCCX 5.0 doesnt have?
Thanks,
Andy

Hi
If you are upgrading to CUCM8+ then a good reason to upgrade your UCCX is that it may stop working; and you won't get help from Cisco with getting it working again - the first 'supported' version of UCCX with CUCM8 is UCCX8.0. See the compatibility charts:
In terms of new features, UCCX7.0 introduced Agent Email queues, 'free' licensing for the Outbound dialler, and makes various improvements to the Desktop apps (Supervisor and Agent) such as tabbed browsing, more flexible workflows, a browser-based version of CAD... 8.0 basically ports to Linux for simpler platform management and lower maintenance, and adds support for clustering over (fast) WANs.
