XMPP Message for mute/unmute

'm listening to the Dialog XMPP events, but don't seem to get any messages for mute/unmute. I get for everything else (for instance hold/retrieve). Is that correct? I notice, that the DialogState enum has PAUSED listed under non-voice (that was the closest thing I could come to Mute). The ParticipantState enum has a HELD but not a MUTED member, it seems.

Hi,

That is correct. Finesse doesn't get/send a notification when the call is muted.

Thanx,

Denise

Strange - so if the user presses the Mute button in Jabber, I have no way of ever knowing?

Hi,

Finesse isn't being told by the CTI when a user goes mute and therefore does not have the data to send an event to say so. So from a Finesse perspective, I am not aware of a way for you to know when the user goes on mute.

Thanx,

Denise
