Cisco VPC vs port-channel recommendation/challenges

Folks,

I recollect that we have some routing consideration to take care when we go with a VPC vs a port-channel configurations but I am unable to recollect what are those.

Can someone help me take a look at the below configuration that we have in place and recommend if we would even need a VPC? These 2 switches do not have a third switch and they have just around 5-6 VLAN's.
