Hi All,

Bit of an odd issue. We see host links bouncing on the fex. We have replaced the fibre/SFP and the sever but still having the same issues so now suspecting an issue with the FEX. Has anyone seen this before? no errors on the host ports -  i did wonder if there was an issue on the fex uplink ports facing the parent switch that's dropping control packets or something. Is there any command i can run to try and understand the issue?

FEX: 103 Description: FEX3.TRA state: Online
FEX version: 9.3(10) [Switch version: 9.3(10)]
FEX Interim version: 9.3(10)

Extender Model: N2K-C2348UPQ-10GE, Extender Serial: FOC2146R0TN
Part No: 73-15489-04
Card Id: 265, Mac Addr: f8:b7:e2:49:a1:42, Num Macs: 96
Module Sw Gen: 21 [Switch Sw Gen: 21]
pinning-mode: static Max-links: 1
Fabric port for control traffic: Eth1/11
FCoE Admin: false
FCoE Oper: true
FCoE FEX AA Configured: false
Fabric interface state:
Po103 - Interface Up. State: Active

Thanks

Hello @jay_7301 ,
I would try to use this CLI:

show queuing interface ethernet 1/11 detail
show queuing interface ethernet 1/12 detail

Then check the following line:

FEX interface info:
FEX Drop Class Buffer Size:

Total FEX interface statistics:
FEX Uplink Interface Rx Drops : 0
Fex Uplink Interface Err Drops : 0
Fex Uplink Interface Mcast Drops: 0

Please let me know if it's helpful.
Have a nice day.
Kind Regards,
Antoine
