0 percent displayed on Cisco 6921 phone

This is a strange one.  When ever the 6921 phone boots up and is on-line the display of the phone shows 0%.

Shown in the picture attached.

The phone is up and registered.  Everything works.  That display will disppear and show everything normal if a new call is recieved on that phone or we press the speaker phone button (or any button).

Why is it showing that and obviously how can be remove that from come up?  That can be confusing for users who see that

Thank you!

Can you mark this thread as answered? if everything has been answered!

A bug.  Nice.  A another reason why I don't like the 6900 phones.

But it does make sense because after digging deeper from the phone system messages I saw the following logs:

[13:15:42, 03/17/2011] upgrade   from 10.12.101.3
[13:15:42, 03/17/2011] upgrade   fail (read fail)

So I think that's why it shows that 0% on the display.

Unfortnately I tried to upgrade to firmware 8.5.4 or even 9.1.1 (I tried signed and unsigned).  But nothing happens, the issue remains, and the same log messages show on the phones.

Any ideas what I could do next?

I also couldn't query big ID: CSCtg27496.  Is that correct?

Thank you!

Can you please verify whether the tftp is working?

Get a sniffer capture on the phone.

I restarted the TFTP service and now the phones are running 9.1.1
