Dear All,
We have recently bought cisco 2951 router with licenses ipbasek9, securityK9 & UCK9 preloaded, but I could also see unified border element enterprise license - 5 sessions.
Find the show license info from router, and I do not find anything related to CUBE from this output. May I know what does CUBE - 5 sessions mean?
I would also like to know whether clear license agent counters/sessions will remove all the licenses that are loaded on this router or not?
Please find the attached image for your information.

Cisco can't programmatically enforce the limit at this time. In most cases, the expectation is that simultaneous calls to the PSTN will not exceed the license count.
If you desire to do so, you may limit this with your SIP provider or another way. Alternately, you can set no limit and then order additional licenses based on your usage.
Hope this helps!

Hi Syed,
There are PAK ids for CUBE Session licenses but no need to install anything as such as mentioned here, these are paper licenses. But the expectation is that you are not crossing the maximum session limitation although there are no restrictions as such. More details on the session license PAK and FAQs can be found in the below link:

CUBE licenses are Right To Use and are honor-based. You won't see anything in the output tO correlate it.
The license count is the max number of simultaneous calls which utilize the UBE technology.

Thank you Nathan!
Max number of simultaneous calls which utilize the UBE technology??
Could you give an example to understand it better, please?
Also, there won't be any separate PAK for CUBE license, am I right?
