6961 registration issue

we have brand new CUCM 8.5 and brnad new 6961 ip phones. Configured all without problems, connecting phones and they get the rigth firmware which is

SCCP69xx.9-1-1-0.zz.

CUCM administration page says the phone is registered, but the phone display say "Phone not registered" and I cant work with the phone.

What can I do? I'm not authorized to download newer firmware for the phone.

The solution should be a bug fix by CISCO

Have an TAC with this issue hold.

The problem is, that the phone is configured with a customized Phone Button Template.

If configured with the default Standard phone button template by CUCM, then it works fine.

The workaround is to modify the template in the phone configuration site- phone by phone - or wait for the fix.
